CI club members have been making waves, or should I say forehands, on the courts this summer.

One of our junior members Aria Pringle has had an amazing and successful summer on the tennis circuit culminating in a semi-final singles appearance at Fitzwilliam followed up with winning mixed doubles U12. This is an incredible achievement as Fitz is the most prestigious junior tournament in Ireland with only the top players being able to boast that their picture is on the wall. Furthermore, at 11 years she has been selected to play U14 Interpros for Ulster alongside another CI junior member Tara McCombe. Well done girls.

Talking of Interpros, some of our senior members have been selected for their respective age groups and we wish them all the best when they put on the Ulster shirts. Congratulations to Rob Gilmour, Andy Moore, Johnny Abosi, Karel Meuwissen, Trish Fraser and Kathleen Diamond.
